Donna Elmore is the owner of Effective Educational Solutions, LLC, providing consulting, grant services, and accreditation preparation to community colleges. She has over fifty years of experience in education as an instructor, a college academic vice president, and as a K-12 superintendent. She is currently serving as the interim Vice President of Administrative Services at Aiken Technical College.

Mrs. Elmore worked for fifteen years in leadership positions in the educational software industry, serving as Vice President of Education for both NetSchools Corporation and Plato Learning and as an education consultant for leading companies, such as IBM and Pearson Education.  In all of her positions, Ms. Elmore has specialized in grant writing, securing in excess of 35 million in grant dollars for state and local entities.

Mrs. Elmore is a graduate of Winthrop College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a Masters of Arts in English from the University of South Carolina, along with 21 hours above the masters in Higher Education Curriculum and Design. Mrs. Elmore resides on a family farm in Fort Motte, South Carolina. She is proud to represent the First Judicial Circuit on the South Carolina State Board of Education.
