Superintendent Spearman announced that the State Board of Education has unanimously approved the recommendation to adopt a 10-point grading scale beginning in the 2016-17 school year for all high school courses.

Greenville County School District was recognized by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation as one of the “Best Communities for Music Education.”

Matthew Powell, a senior at James F. Byrnes High School, was named Outstanding Bandsman of South Carolina for 2016.
