The collection, analysis, and reporting of Career and Technical Education (CTE) data are required to fulfill state and federal accountability requirements for enrollment, placement, planning, and allocation of funds to local school districts to support CTE programs and courses.
Update to the Student Reporting Procedures Guide (SRPG)
Following feedback from internal and external stakeholders and an extensive internal review, the Student Reporting Procedures Guide (SRPG) has been modernized and reorganized to improve usability and provide more timely access to information.
As part of this update, content previously housed within the SRPG has been divided into three separate, purpose-driven resources:
- Student Reporting Procedures Guide (SRPG): Will remain the primary source for Career and Technical Education (CTE) PowerSchool reporting requirements. An updated version will be published later this summer following the PowerSchool rollover and implementation of system updates.
- CTE Course and Program Guide: Now available, this new guide includes comprehensive information on all CTE clusters, programs, and courses. Separating this content allows for earlier release, giving districts additional time to plan course offerings and develop local plans and budgets.
- Tiered Certification Framework Guide: Certification information has been transitioned to the official Tiered Certification List approved by the EOC and published on the SCDE website.
This new structure is designed to streamline access to information, improve clarity, and ensure that updates can be delivered more efficiently.
