Charter School Contract Template

Pursuant to the South Carolina Charter Schools Act, S.C. Code Ann. §59-40-60, a contract between a charter school and its sponsor must be executed, and the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) must develop a template for the contract, which will serve as a foundation for the development of a contract between the charter school and the sponsor. The following template is intended to assist charter schools and sponsors in developing contracts that encompass all of the requirements set forth in South Carolina law.
