Rev. Anthony "Tony" Vincent

Rev. Anthony M. (Tony) Vincent is the Tenth Judicial Circuit representative to the South Carolina Board of Education, representing Anderson and Oconee counties.  Rev. Vincent is a native of South Carolina and a product of South Carolina public schools, having graduated from T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in pastoral care and counseling from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina.

Since 2004 Rev. Vincent has served Trinity Baptist Church in Seneca as the Associate Minister for worship and missions.  He has served in leadership positions within the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and previously served on the boards of Oconee County First Steps and Our Daily Rest Homeless Shelter in Seneca.  Rev. Vincent volunteers as a mentor at Blue Ridge Elementary in Seneca through Mentor Upstate.

Rev. Vincent and his wife, Kristen, a teacher in the School District of Oconee County (SDOC), have twin daughters who are students in the SDOC system.  He is passionate about finding ways to connect people who want to make a difference with opportunities to serve and support their communities.  Rev. Vincent is delighted to use his voice to represent the people of Anderson and Oconee counties on the South Carolina Board of Education and to advocate for all students, families, and teachers across our state.
