Jacqueline Lynn is honored to represent the Fourth Judicial Circuit on the South Carolina State Board of Education (Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Marlboro Counties). She is a native of Richmond, Virginia where she attended and graduated from Richmond Public Schools. Mrs. Lynn is an educator and veteran.
Mrs. Lynn earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Virginia Union University, a M.A. in Economics from Virginia State University, and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Winthrop University.
Mrs. Lynn has proudly served as an educator for 29 years, 24 of those years in the beautiful state of South Carolina. She has served as an elementary school teacher, Coordinator of Teacher Retention, Recruitment and Evaluation, Exceptional Education Facilitator, and Assistant Principal. Currently she serves as a principal in Darlington County School District. She has held National Board Certification (NBC) and completed the School Leadership Executive Institute (SLEI).
As a US Army veteran, Mrs. Lynn served three years on active duty and eight years in the US Army Reserves. During her service, she became a commissioned officer and earned her Airborne wings.
Mrs. Lynn loves her family and community. She actively serves in her church as the president of the deaconess ministry, chaplain of the missionary ministry and choir member. In addition, Mrs. Lynn is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated.
Mrs. Lynn resides in Darlington County with her husband. They have two children. She believes in the power of education and service.
