Tammie Shore is the Eleventh Judicial Circuit representative to the South Carolina State Board of Education. Mrs. Shore grew up in Georgia, attended public school, and graduated from Franklin County High School. She completed her undergraduate work at Lander College where she received a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She also received a Master of Elementary Education from Lander University as well as a Master of Educational Supervision and Administration from the University of South Carolina.

Mrs. Shore retired in 2021 after 31 years in education where she served the community of Saluda County. Her love, dedication, and service to the county included being a classroom teacher, an Assistant Principal, Director of Federal Programs, and Principal before retiring.

Mrs. Shore is also a partner and active in Radius Church in Saluda. She serves in her church by working in the kid’s church and as a greeter. She is married to John Shore and is the mother of two children, Peyton and Sarah. Peyton is a graduate of Limestone College and is a professional golfer. Sarah is a graduate of Clemson University and is a sales manager. Mrs. Shore and her husband own and operate Shore Livestock, Inc. in Saluda SC.

Mrs. Shore considers it a tremendous honor to represent the Eleventh District on the South Carolina State Board of Education and looks forward to working with everyone and serving the state of South Carolina.
