Everything You Thought You Knew about Leading a Title I School

- The responsibility of administering a successful Title I program is not the district’s alone. Title I schools also share a number of key responsibilities under federal law. This session is especially tailored to school-level leaders and will outline the programmatic and fiscal requirements that all Title I schools are responsible for in a straightforward and easy-to-understand format. - The purpose of this session is to get you ready for your audits performed by the SCDE Office of Auditing Services and by other external auditors for any funds that are passed through the SCDE. We will discuss required documentation to maintain for expenditure claims submitted for reimbursement and what to include in your written policies and procedures. Examples of time and effort documentation will also be discussed and the subrecipient risk assessment process.
