The South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) invites the public to review textbooks and instructional materials that have been proposed for use in South Carolina’s public schools.

The instructional materials are available for review virtually from December 13, 2019, through January 13, 2020, using links provided by publishers.

The public can also provide feedback to the State Board of Education, who will vote on whether or not to adopt the materials, by filling out the public review comment form.

The materials for the following subject areas will be recommended to the State Board of Education for adoption on January 14, 2020.

• Social Studies, Grade 3 (World Geography)
• Social Studies, Grades 4–5 (Part I and Part II: South Carolina Studies)
• Mathematics, Grades K–8
