Description
The purpose of the 2020–21 Arts Curricular Innovation Grants (ACIG) is to assist schools and districts in developing and implementing arts initiatives that support quality arts education programs that significantly improve student achievement in the arts. Innovative Arts Works grants provide funds for one-year projects and are designed to support limited, small-scale, innovative arts projects.

Eligible Applicants
All South Carolina K–12 public schools and school districts are eligible to apply for
only one grant type—
either an Innovative Arts Works grant,
or a Distinguished Arts Program grant under the ACIG program.
Total Funding Available
$110,000
Funding Detail
Approximately 25 new Innovative Arts Works grants: five awards for school districts and 20 awards for schools. The maximum Innovative Arts Works grant award to a school district is $6,000, and the maximum grant award to a school is $4,000.
