The Rally Analytics Platform
What is Rally?
The South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) is committed to supporting teachers and school leaders in meeting the needs of students in this unprecedented back to school season. In that effort, we are providing districts access to Rally, an interactive platform designed to help educators reflect on and plan for the academic effects of the current situation.
Rally features:
- Building, classroom, and individual student views of historical and recent student academic performance on state and formative assessments. This includes formative assessment data for students who participate in academic recovery camp and for the tests that are now required to be administered within the first 10 days of the school year.
- Accessible Spring testing data from the prior year.
- Predictions of where students will score on formative and state assessments throughout the 2022-2023 school year. Note that these predictions will adjust whenever new tests are given.
- Grade-level resources aligned to the South Carolina College and Career-Ready Standards to support teaching the skills and knowledge that students need most.
- Ability to group students around specific needs.
- Notebook for educators to store reflections on student progress and share notes with others who have access to the student’s record.

How can I use Rally to set goals for my students?
Rally can help you set goals for your students based on an understanding of their historical academic performance and aligned predictions of their future academic performance based on similar students. Within the individual student view, you can view your student’s past assessment performance in the Assessments Over Time section. You can also see domain-level information for each assessment below. This detailed information can inform goals for each individual student, which can be monitored in each student's notebook. For more information, click on the video link below.
