District and school professional staff members must hold appropriate credentials for the positions they occupy in order to meet accreditation standards mandated by State Board of Education Regulation 43-300. What follows in these documents is a tabular listing of most district office and school positions, along with the required credentials for each of those positions. Regardless of whether a specific position is listed in these documents, all professional instructional staff must hold South Carolina educator certificates.
