Online Courses for Educators

The mission of VirtualSC Professional Development is to provide high-quality online professional development through both renewal and graduate courses for licensed educators in South Carolina to use towards licensure renewal, add-on endorsements, and technology proficiency to prepare educators to lead students to become college and career ready.

VirtualSC PD: is a program for developing and delivering high-quality online professional development for educators in South Carolina to use toward licensure renewal.  VirtualSC PD is part of the Office of Virtual Education within the SC Department of Education and is designed to increase teacher knowledge and skills with technology to help educators improve student performance in the classroom with the use of technology. The program is designed to leverage the expertise and experience of South Carolina’s educators while making high-quality professional development available across the state.
