PowerSchool to Ed-Fi Integration

Each year, district-level PowerSchool administrators in South Carolina integrate their PowerSchool instances with their Ed-Fi API through a series of steps. This annual process takes place immediately after rollover and is an important part of setting up for the subsequent school year. Generating Ed-Fi API Credentials

For the 2024-2025 school year, district-level Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and PowerSchool administrators listed in DEIM will be able to log in to the Starting Blocks Admin App which will be used by a CIO or PowerSchool administrator designated by the district to generate Ed-Fi API credentials.

A district-level PowerSchool administrator will complete the Data Exchange setup and configuration steps in PowerSchool to connect to the district's 2024-2025 Ed-Fi API in preparation for data publishing.
