The mission of the Office of Medicaid Services is to:
- Support school districts in providing quality healthcare services to meet the needs of the “whole student” so that students graduate prepared for success.
- Serve as a resource to all school districts regarding Medicaid policy, procedures and processes and ensure that school districts adhere to Medicaid requirements.
- Support school districts in leveraging Medicaid reimbursement and pursue Medicaid reimbursement to offset healthcare service costs for Medicaid eligible students.
- Advocate for school districts to receive Medicaid reimbursement for all Medicaid services rendered and advocate to remove unnecessary burdens placed on school districts via Medicaid policy, processes, and procedures.
- Provide claims processing services to school districts for administrative services.
